As a developmental preschool, we recognize that children learn best in a program that shows respect for the total and natural development of each child. Children learn best through experiencing and doing.

Our Goals

• To give each child time to grow;
• To help each child develop a strong sense of self;
• To provide an environment rich in equipment and materials, where experiences are direct and concrete, to build a foundation for later more abstract experiences;
• To provide movement experiences for the development of large motor skills;
• To provide many and varied opportunities for oral expression;
• To help each child relate to others socially, and to be part of a large group;
• To help each child develop child development techniques;
• To promote creative expression through art, music, movement, cooking, and story telling.

Our Teachers

Each class is taught by experienced degreed or Early Childhood Education certified Lead and Assistant teachers, who are carefully chosen for their ability and desire to work for the best interests of each child. Our staff is involved in continuing education through membership in the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NAEYC.

Class Schedule for 2008-2009

• Three-Year-Old Class/Two Mornings a Week

  Child must be three years old before September 30, 2008, and should be potty-trained.

  • Days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Time: 9:30 - 12:30
  • Tuition: $125.00/month*
    May's tuition of $125.00 is due August 10, 2008
     
• Three-Year-Old Class/Three Mornings Per Week

  Child must be three years old before September 30, 2008.

  • Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Time: 9:30 - 12:30
  • Tuition: $185.00/month*
    May's tuition of $185.00 is due August 10, 2008
     
• Four-Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten Class/Three Mornings Per Week

  Child must be four years old before September 30, 2008.

  • Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Time: 9:30 - 12:30
  • Tuition: $185.00/month*
    May's tuition of $185.00 is due August 10, 2008
     
• Four-Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten Class/Four Mornings Per Week

  Child must be four years old before September 30, 2008.

  • Tuition: $230.00/month*
    May's tuition of $230.00 is due August 10, 2008
     
• Pre-Kindergarten Classes/Five Mornings a Week

  Child must be five years old by December 31, 2008, and/or have Director's approval.

  • Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Time: 9:30-12:30
  • Tuition: $260.00/month*
    May's tuition of $260.00 is due August 10, 2008
     

* A $90.00 non-refundable fee per family is required at the time of registration. Registration packets are available online or through the Preschool office.
